I figured you had no shortage of stuff to work on! I've been buried here. This week I harvested 7 plants - and I'm waist deep in medicine. I really expanded my grow operations - I'd share pics but I don't want to upset anyone or get Mark in trouble lol.
My father has decided to sell his 1-acre "man land" property - it has a 30x40 barn, 2-car garage, a small shop, and a newer 10x30 shed. I've spent the last week helping him go through shit and sort the scrap from the trash. Unfortunately, he has been little help due to his mental health. He had a traumatic brain injury 25 years ago and I don't know if it's that, but he's showing signs of dementia. It's getting to the point that he struggled to sort trash and scrap. I had a 5 gallon bucket for trash and a 40 gallon tote for the metal scrap - he couldn't keep them straight. It sucks that I'm probably going to have to be the adult and have a talk with him. At this point, he thinks the doctor is full of shit because he can remember all the stuff from the good old days, but that doesn't matter if he can't find something he just sat down 5 minutes ago....

What are you going to do now that you have room in your shop?

I run e10 in all my lawn equipment. The key is you can’t let it sit in the bowl of the carbs or anywhere air can get to it. Put a manual fuel shutoff valve on the feed and use that to shut down the equipment if it’s going to set for long periods of time. If the tank doesn’t seal you’ll have issues with the e10.
If it sets for more than a year then I might have to drain the tank and put some fresh in.

So far he's getting his routine down pretty well. His attention span isn't quite there yet for any real training. He's got going outside to do his business down pretty well, but he's still a pup and learning. I've been introducing toys to see what he likes and so far the frisbee is his favorite by far.

As much work as a puppy is - it’s well worth it.

His mom was sable and his dad was a blue Merle - it’ll be interesting to see his markings when he matures. He’s sable but has a couple bands that are Merle right now. His mom was 28lbs and his dad was smaller. He will be an average size sheltie.
Our hearts and full and we feel blessed to have this little guy in our life. I didn’t realize how much enjoyment I get seeing my boys with the pup. They are at the perfect ages to bond with the puppy.

The house was too quiet. We brought this little ball of fluff home from central Ohio this weekend.
His name is Tate and he is a 9-week-old Shetland Sheepdog.
He rode 6 hours home without any accidents or crying. He's slept through the night the last 2 nights he's been home.
So far one of the most chill puppies I've ever been around.
We did check out Summit Racing while we were in the area - I spent an hour in the clearance section digging through all the cool stuff.

From what I can see from the bottom the bores are pretty clean. It’s got miles on it but it was maintained.

Well, this thing is pretty clean inside, I was expecting a sludge puppy. Gem class for sure Steve!
I think these are the original plugs lol
I got it cleaned up and a fresh coat of black on it for the time being.

That's pretty damn good. Better than our CRV got this weekend, I think we averaged 34mpg.
How does it tow?

Took the boys on an adventure today. Picked this gem up down near Flint. 2002 LQ4 (6.0)/4L80E - supposed to have just under 200k on it. Since it was nearly a 2-hour ride each way I rewarded the boys with lunch @ Sonic.
It's a filthy bitch and had quite the nest under the intake!

List on FB market place - I'm looking at options. A couple of cheap 6.0s around might go that route.

Well shit - the 5.3 I have for this this probably garbage. Pulled it out of the stang this afternoon to start cleaning it up, and swap the cam/valve springs.
First problem - the engine wouldn’t turn over. I pulled the valve train and the rings were stuck for sure. 20min soak with pb and she broke free and spun okay. I wasn’t happy about it but decided move forward as planned and swap the cam. The cam had a lot more resistance than expected, I had to give it a pretty good tug to break it free. There was some noise, but I thought it was hung up on a lifter, nope - this pos spun the #3 cam bearing and it cam out with the camshaft.
