I watched that earlier Brad. Heads up 1/8th mile stuff looks like a blast. But like everything it comes down to cubic dollars.

Jeremy what blows me away is the knowledge that's required from a suspension standpoint to get those cars to hook with that much HP on such a small tire. If I read the rules correctly the cars can weigh as little as 2200 with the driver.

This is one of those situations where you want a small car with a long factory wheelbase.  A long box 80s S10 maybe?  And then jam it with a 3 rotor tubo engine to make the most of the weight breaks (because leaf springs too).  Not shocking or overloading the tires is obviously the key.
