LMC up here has two 69 convertible 350's.

He has a lot of nice cars but you pay a pretty penny for them.  He is asking $195K for the 67 GT500.  The average car guy in this city won't pay that, but we are cheap. :)

Oh, I know.  There is one guy I used to race against in a drag radial series.  He has 2 Hemi Cudas, 302 Camaro, 67 427 Vette, Shelby GT500 with 30k on it.  He said there is no way he could afford those cars today but he bought them at a time when everyone was getting rid of the gas guzzlers.  Something to do with a gas shortage. :icon_lol:

Prices have climbed but want ya want an what ya get are 2 different things  :player: I always liked the 69/70 GT500s. I bought a brand new 70 Mach1 Cobra Jet Drag Pack in Oct/69. Shelby's were another grand.

Mike - stay away from the RST clutch if you plan to put sticky tires on the MCSS. The RXT is plenty smooth and holds like a mofo. Sorry I was just skimming your threads on the gbody forum.

Uh oh!
