Scot W. Didn't start a new thread, I split to retain any integrity of the original thread.
Considering it is an EarlBrown thread, there wasn't much integrity to begin with.  (That's a joke, btw)

Thanks,
Mark

Hows the piston project Earl? Any developments?

And nice job on the bolt package!

After all the BS Scot called on TB about these bolts I lost interest for a little while. I was going to use the money from these extra fasteners to finance the prototypes.

That schmuck complained to the moderators even though he doesn't have the first bolt on his ricey Buick website (he told the mods that he sells bolt kits at shows).

The idea was to sell off my extras to finance the prototypes but now I have to pay fees to sell them yet Shane won't respond to my PM about what I have to pay....     Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth.

Well since i'm here and you don't seem to have the facts straight at all lets cover the facts... First of all Shane AND the other moderators ask us to inform them of people selling items without being a vendor if we run across them, "That's what I did"

I NEVER told anyone that I am selling bolt kit's on my, what was it you called it ricey web site?

I also NEVER told Any mods that I sold bolt kits at shows because that would have been a complete lie, anyone who knows me knows that I never sold a bolt kit at any show.

Sorry you got all bent out of shape over this and the "Truth" all twisted up but I only done what they asked to do which was to let them know of this stuff if we came across it.  Now I'm called all kinds of names by a grown man?  Nice!

You have two post here and both of them are fucking with me???   Going so far as to bump a thread over a month old... I feel special.

Lets look at your first 'fact'....   You have to pay $500 a year to sell on that board AND you have to act as police at the same time. Isn't that like paying to go to work?

I was told personally by a mod that you said you claimed to sell bolt kits at shows but not on your website. That's why your complaint was 'valid'.  I reminded the mod I used to star in porn movies and that means dick in the Buick world...   What does that have to do here? And what you do at car shows means dick online.

You are the SOLE reason the Buick community doesn't have some pretty sweet pistons today. Granted, much like my extra bolts, there's nothing for you to gain by me bringing new stuff to the turbo regal plate so what do you care?

Just pay the $500 a year to the .kom board and don't worry about my day to day activities. You'll be much happier.

I will concede that I don't have first hand knowledge that you told a mod you sell bolt kits at car shows.....   I will say for a fact I was told by that very mod that you said you did, so that's what I went with.  Either you're lying or the people you pay to cover you are lying.

If you're telling the truth about never selling a bolt kit why did you stick your nose in my business in the first place. Don't you have better things to do?  It's times like this I'm glad I have a life.

And you didn't get called "all kinds of names", I called you one name.    And after reading all two of your posts, both directed at me, I stand by them.

Oh yeah, thanks for the bump, douchenozzle. (Since your comprehension skills are lacking, that wasn't business related either, it was personal)

I have to be honest , I aint read the entire post of either side.
I'm ok with scott and have bought a couple things from him, but if I'm gonna buy bolts, timing covers, or any other metal part, I'm gonna choose Earl everytime.  his knowledge, skill, and wit is well documented.
The only thing that surprises me here is why Earl would expect any other outcome other than what happened.

Exactly!

Look guy's Earl knows plain and simple what he was Getting Away with and so does everyone else. Had he mentioned in his thread selling the nuts & bolt kits were funding a piston project I probably would have breezed right by it. If this was ok with Shane to begin with then Shane should have posted right after his first post and said so then nothing would have happened in the first place...

The way that board is ran actually breeds this kind of thing to happen, I didn't set out to piss some guy off just because he was selling nut's & bolts I simply mentioned it to Shane like he had asked and then they twist it around so they look good, it's BS!....

I would like to clear up some Misinformation Earl put out there in his last rant,

I spent months of time helping with the design of the Regal LED taillights with spaghetti engineering, they wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me! when it was time to actually sell them the group purchase was Much cheaper than it is now and for your information You can not go directly to the manufacture and buy them "Cheaper" Here I will do some actual math for you so you can understand better. They sell them for $268.00 + $20 for the LED flasher = $288.00  and if you or Anyone looks on our web site they will see them for $279.00 WITH the LED flasher INCLUDED!

The very same thing happened to me too when I started to sell the LED lights "as a group purchase" on tb.kom then another vendor done the same thing to me and Shane made me become a vendor. I knew who did it but I kept my mouth shut and carried onward and now me and him are pretty good friends. I didn't go onto other sites and call names and bring his name up...

We have spent Thousands of dollars to manufactures like DSE & Ridetech to become authorized vendors and we turn right around and offer discounts to our customers cheaper than you can get the parts from the manufacture! for instance FREE SHIPPING & Freight.

Earl I look forward to meeting you sometime, hopefully at the next Buick event!

I wasn't expecting any kind of outcome. All I thought I did was mention I wish someone other than Scot W. was handing the charity.

I'm pretty observant but I never would have guessed he'd show up over here, sign up, and only post under me (while asking what makes me so special)

How did I miss this???

Not going to 'stoop to my level' huh?  Bumping a week old thread for?.......

REALLY?..   I guess this was just for your personal records...

I apologize. Jet me rephrase what I typed earlier...   I was told by a mod that you said you sold bolt kits at car shows. I didn't actually hear it from you...

That being said, one of the two of you lied to me...    And since you posted a bolt kit right after mine got deleted (with pictures, crack bags and instructions already printed up), I'm going to side with the mod on being the one that didn't lie.
We both acknowledged that we didn't see any bolt kits on your website. Since you are a paying vendor, you win.

Sorry you got all bent out of shape over this and the "Truth" all twisted up

Then get my thread reinstated. I proved this was a money raising effort to bring forged Buick pistons to market.

Quote from: scot w
Now I'm called all kinds of names by a grown man?  Nice!

I call 'em like I see 'em.    Gave any thought to getting my thread reinstated yet? Or do you still like manipulating your paying status to stop someone that's not competing with you?

Look guy's Earl knows plain and simple what he was Getting Away with and so does everyone else. If this was ok with Shane to begin with then Shane should have posted right after his first post and said so then nothing would have happened in the first place...

So I have to explain myself on any and all for sale posts to meet "Scot W.'s satisfaction" now?

You must have 'breezed right by' this one too...
http://turbobuick.com/forums/threads/what-would-be-a-dream-piston-for-the-average-build.395533/

Since we can agree that you made a mistake and should have breezed right by, how about having my thread reinstated?

Quote from: scot w
The way that board is ran actually breeds this kind of thing to happen, I didn't set out to piss some guy off just because he was selling nut's & bolts I simply mentioned it to Shane like he had asked and then they twist it around so they look good, it's BS!....

You might not have set out to piss me off, but did you really think hiding behind Jay and Shane then blindsiding won't piss people off?
And who is 'they' and just how do they look good now?  You've convinced me that you're a douchnozzle, and you're trying to make me out to be some sort of scapegoating vendor. I've yet to see any evidence otherwise.

Could that be because you ARE a vendor? As far as your group purchase....   you feel you were wrong by another vendor acting as a bully... so now that you're in the protected class, you get to do it to me?  Classy!

At 5% more, I'd rather buy directly from the manufacturer. It's worth $11 to me to get them faster and/or eliminate the middleman if there's a problem.

Bottom line is you found a post of mine that said 'bolt kit' and you flexed your paying vendor muscles (thinking it would be anonymous) and had my 'competing' thread deleted.  What's really shitty of you is having my thread deleted when my bolt kits weren't even competing with your cosmetic dress-up shit.

All you did was irritate me, show your true colors, and slow down (or possibly kill) bringing a new product(s) to the Buick world.

Don't hold your breath.

The only way you'll meet me is I don't know who I'm being introduced to. There's a short list of people I won't have around me and right now you're one of them.

If your smart enough you will see the Date when that thread was posted about the bolt kit that Coach has been putting together for the last month or so plus he is doing all his engine too so I'm sure those will be available soon. It is True I Never sold a single bolt kit at any show or even online until now, believe what you want.

Yes it's also true that I Never seen or heard of your thread about the pistons and Charlie can vouch because he is the one who actually told me about it. so Yeah I breezed right by it and never seen it or noticed it.

Want your little thread reinstated go ask the fucking people who removed it!!  I was just the person who pointed it out, THEY were the ones who got rid of it NOT ME! If you were Smart enough you could have contacted a supporting vendor to sell your bolt kits for you just like a bunch of the other members do like "Coach" who is putting together the bolt kits that we are selling them for him on our web site and on the board!!!!   :)   That is how it's properly done if you don't want to pay vendor fee's!!!

It's pretty simple really,

1) If either Jay or Shane were okay with you selling them, then why the hell wasn't there a post by either of      them stating so in your thread?

2) Why didn't you go to a vendor to have them sell your bolt kits for you and avoid this mess?

3) At the very least, Why didn't YOU post in your thread what the hell the proceeds were going to fund?

I'm done here and look forward to introducing myself to you at a Buick event. Yes I will be that guy that you don't know who your being introduced to. This way you will see I don't like hiding behind people or a keyboard!!

Have a nice day Prick!
