Alky Pressure?
« on: March 11 2012, 09:07:17 AM »
There's a pressure gauge attached to the pump with SMC's progressive kit. Wondering what the minumum pressure should be when I hit the test button.

come push the button and I will tell you after I read the gauge.

Seems like my pump read about 120 psi when I jumped it to the battery with the engine was running with a single line...maybe a bit more.

Thanks Steve. Get one of my neighbours to watch the gauge when I hit the test button.

the test button puts out a lot less pressure as I understand it than jumping it straight to the battery...so don't look for my pressure above

Gotcha. It's drowning the engine out when testing...but I'm curious what the minumum pressure should be. It's two years old...and it's been thrashed on hard...worried about the pump weakening. It's much smaller than Razors.
