Looks really good, can't wait to see the final paint job.
One question, did you sand down the original paint to create a primer look, or or did you sand down to metal and then apply the primer coat?
Trying to see which way is cheaper and still keeping some good results, as I too will be needing a paint job. Thanks

Loookin good!  You need to get rid of that small heat exchanger and get a nice big intercooler!

I pick the car up Friday. The gentleman that did it is a friend of mine...a fellow TR owner...and owns his own bodyshop. My car was stolen...so this went through insurance.

That's Marks Megacooler from TR Customs. Fit like a glove...and the ET stays dead consistent on back to back runs. I got tired of heat soak with the SLIC. I got it brand new from a guy in Alberta...for 600 bucks shipped to my door.

I raced Dan Keller at Armdrop this year...and he has my identical build...with the exception of a SLIC. I got him by a length or two in the first race. We hot lapped...and I put a half dozen on him. I'm a firm believer in real world results.

For a guy who once told me a MACCO paint job was good enough you surely went to the other extreme....
( This guy does mostly Porsche, Escalade, Beamer work)

I sent a pic of the finished car to Jason to his cell. Maybe he can post it. I'll take pics of it in the bodyshop tomorrow morning...and post in late afternoon.

I talked to Chris about so many things that I can't remember half the stuff he told me. :) I believe he said it was done from the lower body line on up. There's not a hint of orange peel. :)
