I've raced two Lambos in the GN, scared the shit out of both, stoplight and freeway.

Hell no! The first time was in the ghetto. I was out with my buddy at a 7-11 gas station buying some hooch when it pulled up. The guy gets out and goes inside so I park the GN and get out and look through the decklid vents to make sure all 12 cylinders were there, and sho nuff they were. So I waited for the guy, chatted a bit while he was pumping gas. So I asked him if he wanted to dance down the street and he laughed it off. So I pulled out and parked the GN in between two lanes with the hazards on and held up traffic until he pulled out. Then he knew I was serious.
So we're at the light and I'm already boosting at the line. The light turned green and I launched like a bat out of hell, I was easily 2-3 lengths in front of him in a second. So I'm screaming through 1st, then 2nd and about 1/3 through third I hear this fucking jet behind me, the son of a bitch is starting to wind out second and he shot right past me. I really don't know how fast we were going.

I was fearless! Second time I was on the freeway and I'm doing 80 or so on the way to school, and I see this silver thing pull right behind me. I thought it was an NSX or something, so I pull to the side and this Countach pulls right up next to me. The guy driving it looked like he stole it, so he gives me a little chin up. I knew I needed all I could get, so I just hit the pedal and kicked down to third and put the pedal on the floor. I took 3rd way past the 85 mark on the speedo and slammed into 4th boosting and once again, all I hear is the song of 12 cylinders winding up behind me slow, then faster. They're fun to mess with at lower speeds, but once they get spinning it's over with. But once again, fearless! I nailed an old 911 Porsche once, and a coupel of Lexus's on the freeway. I held up with a newer Mach 1 and a turbo Prelude at higher speeds. Me and an M3 both got scared around 130 or so once. I stopped freeway racing when I was on two wheels at 80 once, scary shit.

I have to insist that you sit through one of my Driver Instruction classes at Willow Springs. This will help you keep the car on four wheels and at faster speeds. :cool;

I am with you on this! I bought my GN brand new when I was 23 and how this car and I made it this far is nothing short of miraculous! :supz:

Nice! I've been wanting to get an AWD Astrovan frame and smack an S-10 body on it with a nitrous small block.
Hell, maybe even lift it and use a Jaguar IRS and race it out on the desert. I have a buddy who started a custom axle company years ago and can get custom axles dirt cheap.
