Title: What is there to do in the Missouri Ozarks?
Post by: motorhead on May 09 2016, 11:00:45 AM
Heading down to the CBRN school at Fort Leonard Wood at the end of the month for some training.  Now I must ask what is there to do in the area?  Race tracks?  Sight seeing?

Also, what should I avoid?   :icon_kidra: <-Think Deliverance  LOL!

Fort Lost in the Woods!!!   I haven't been there since 88.  I can't even imagine if it's any better since then.  Perhaps someone else has been there since I have.

The base is really nice, and the folks here have been really nice and helpful.  Clearing in tomorrow.

Time to order some parts from Summit.  Because duty free.

It looks top notch compared to what I am used to.  There is a gym for cardio bunnies, and then there is a gym loaded with weights for iron addicts - feels like home.  Evidently there are 4 gym on the base.  I am staying in a hotel on base with wifi, HBO, and mini kitchen.  Zero complaints thus far.
