Title: Just a shot of Shawn O'Connor's work in the paint booth
Post by: Nasty Wendy on February 14 2015, 12:08:15 AM
This is just a teaser pic of the paint job that Shawn O'Connor put on my new car.
He says I still need to machine glaze it.....I can't see it getting better than this.  I should have resnapped that second pic because the focus was just a hair off.

With a car that runs like yours a nice paint job won't be waisted.  Low 13s and shine, what more would you want? :tongue

Right On!   How is everything coming along on the car?  Is it finished?  Been a long journey but glad to see all the progress!

Clay...any pics of the exterior/interior of your car you can share?

Things are coming along rather nicely.  I'm thinking a few more weeks a month tops and it'll be ready to take on a drive.  I'm still waiting on the wheels but they'll get here when they are done.

Brad all I've done on the interior is put in the gauges.  I still have to finish up where Shawn left off.  It is mostly done but stuff like the power window switch has to be put in on the driver's door.  The pull straps on the doors and small stuff like that still need to be put on.  The seats all have new upholstery, new door panels, new headliner, new carpet, new dash.  It is a nice example of our Buicks.  I'm putting pics up in a build thread that Scot W. started on  TB.com as I make progress.  It has lots of pics.  I'll put up interior/exterior pics over here if you like.
