Welcome back
So they didn't keep you around to put HP stickers over the logos?. Had to do the employment two-step myself this year.
I know a few dudes working at the former ATI location just up the road from here. You gonna be on the road?
Well I was on the road (a lot) up till march and then the we hit the rona and it all came to a screeching halt.

So funny story Cray went away on Sept 25 2019.  Jan 1 2020 was "employee day one"  My last day was Nov 8.  Middle of december I got a welcome to HPE kit with new laptop bag, HR forms ....

At anyrate all is good right now.

Long story.  My company of almost 17 years got aquired last year by a competitor.  Prompted me to look around a little and I landed at AMD.  Finally got a salesman to give me a laptop so I didn't have to use the corporate one and restored all my passwords.

One time I picked up a bottle of Dollar General Brand motor oil and it was still SAE SG rated.

It seems to me that since the 4L60E is electronically shifted it's an easy to cut the timing right before a shift but on the 200R4 the ECM doesn't really know when it will shift so the only strategy is to cut timing a few 100 rpm before the supposed shift RPM and wait for the drop.

It's long.  Almost as long as a Double cab pickup.

The fact that we have a US team now is interesting.  The other fact is they use High performance computing to turn Electricity in to heat and aerodynamics to make cars go faster.

More like Ben-Wa balls.

Anal beads are multiple and in a straight line. Like a pull starter on a chainsaw.

Just don't use them like a pull starter on a chainsaw.  :)
You can but you only will get one chance

From what I've read the vac isn't a test for integrity but to "boil" off the moisture in the system. I watched a guy on you tube with a rubber tipped blow gun squirt the system full of air pressure .
I was going to say that.  There are systems that run in a vacuum but our car isn't one.
That's correct Boil off the moisture.  Vac is useless for leak testing A/C Systems.  In fact I just had to have one of the head units replaced on my Upstairs Home AC and they leak tested it with nitrogen not vac

I think that is a pressed in fitting and can't be tightened.
I had to get a new tank one time because of it

My dad's 98 chevy had a weird low pressure valve that didn't have a schrader valve you had to replace the whole thing  And call me weird but I don't think pulling a vac is an accurate leak test.  WHen I converted the T over to R134a it would hold vacum but loose pressure.
