The kit is from Alky Control, very nice, easy to follow instructions. 24 LBS of boost and O2 numbers are still above 815 so I will be pulling some fuel when I get a chance to mess with it more. I wont be adding any more boost.

finally got some time to get this installed...WO W!!! its way better than I expected and I have done next to no tuning so far. Cant wait to see what it will run at the track when its dialed in. Next track date is sept 29th.

Still have the wheel hop problem when doing a burn out. Much worse now with more power. Have helwig rear bar mounted in middle hole. Does using the end hole increase traction or decrease? Also can I lubricate these energy suspension bushings? When installed they already have grease between the bushing and sleeve? If I have it up on a lift, can i push up on one rear tire and tell if I have some binding or wouldnt i be able to tell that way?

Thanks for any advice!!!

I have the Energy Suspension bushings all the way around on the car. With the bolts tight, the center metal tube locks in but the poly bushing can rotate freely when the arm travels up and down? I can try moving the sway bar to the shortest hole. For tires I have 17 inch wheels but the tires are the same height as stock tires were. I measured at the time so they would be the same but dont remember what the number was now.

Get rid of the poly bushings. There's supposed to be some flex in the rear suspension and poly bushings don't allow for it. :sw:

No kidding! it was a bitch to install these in the top arms. I thought these poly bushings were supposed to be the cats ass?

Middle ones

Was trying the burnout test for even strips. They are even in legnth and darkness across but.....it looks like I get alot of wheel hop????  I have the hellwig bar, boxed lower arms and poly bushings. What can I do to stop the hop?

The place that did my tranny rebuild told me its a 2000 stall? That dosent seem correct to me, if i remember right when I test/tune, the car overcomes the brakes about 2700/2800.

Stupid question time. I'm going to check it tonight. You say "mash down on the gas"..... so quickly step into it or ease into it while watching the rpm on the SM. Or dosent it make a difference? Also is it the rpm when " the car actually moves" or when it starts to "lean into the brakes"

Thanks!!

I descided just getting a new alky chip was best idea, as soon as I find out the stall of my converter I can order it. better safe than sorry

from my reading, if I stick with this chip, it sounds like the smart thing to do is leave timing alone, get fuel numbers in the 780 range with boost at my goal setting of 22-23LBS, then move timing toward the 23/21 range watching for knock?

Been trying to order some R-12 on E-bay. Easily the most frustrating god dam experience in quite a while. You need to message the signed statement before paying, but you cant attach anything to the message other than a photo. I'm not good with computers but come on, should it be this fucking tricky or am I just that stupid   :013: :013: :013: :068: :068:
