There were only two days Fri and Sat and they killed Sat at 7:30AM.
Unfortunately the weather then cleared and by 11AM it was gorgeous out.
No car show, no races. I imagine they won't hear the end of it for some time...
We did however make good use of the parking lot and our lawn chairs.

Glad I picked this year to not attend. I can see why some might be somewhat upset but stuff happens so no point getting mad over it.

I read over there that there's a lot of pissed off people over the early racing cancellation.

I'm not there, and not a drag racer, but I think the track could have done a bit more..

I think we can blame this guy for washing his car:

What you can't hear is Paul grumbling to himself: "How do I get all of this stupid chrome off of the grille?"

I wanted to get there but, motorhome is running hotter than I want, overdrive is now officially gone, and stuff at the shop is really beating me up. If any year I couldn't make it, sounds like this was the one. I still want to catch up with everybody here I haven't met. Someday.

This poor gentleman had his brakes fade away at the end of the track and made contact with the hay bales at the end.
Says he can save one fender off the clip ( and the rest of the car is ok~ish)

AJ,

Yes Jim Dotson's car was there.... sort of weird seeing it run when he isn't around anymore.
