New truck and it has turbos :)

Had enough of the TBSS and went out and bought an Ecoboost  :rock:




Has 150 miles on it today - averaging 18mpg so far.

Firechicken will have to wait awhile for the 4l80e swap since the money tree is going through a drought :(

Keep us updated. One of those is on my list for a daily when they get used a bit more and the price comes down. I want a black platinum with the heated and cooled seats. oh and a leaky moonroof.

Mike, it had 115k on it and the only things that had ever been done was the trans and a cheap set of brake pads.

It needed, tires, full brake job, front diff resealed, exhaust, the right rear airbag was bad - it was time for it to go. All stuff I could fix, but the time, energy and money is better spent elsewhere.

Long time no see.  Just dropped by to see what was going on over here.  I missed screwing around with you guys.  I've been absent from the board every since I lost my car.  Its been rather depressing not having it anymore.  Its clear I'm going to have to fight to get fair treatment but I guess that's the way of the world.  Anyway I picked up one of them Ecoboost F150s too.  They are pretty impressive.

Commercials here are advertising 32mpg with the ecotech. :O   Still nice trucks!

1st tank I got 17.5 not bad for a big ass truck.

It does leave nice stripes when you do a boost launch too  :rock:
