Steve Monroe Throttle Bodies
« on: February 19 2012, 06:57:46 PM »
I noticed Steve's advertisement for his throttlebodies . I grabbed one from him a few years back...and I can honestly say that throttle response is much crisper...and overall driveability was better. I'm up here in Canada...and Steve...knowin g that we have a short race season up here...sent it to me immediately so the car had no down time...and let me send the core back when I got his.

Steve & Glen (NOS4GN) are by far the best 2 vendors I have ever dealt with for ANY of my parts! Some others are good (no big complaints just some smaller issues with some) but Steve & Glen go the extra step to make sure your 100% happy!
I asked Steve for 4 TB seals & they were here ASAP so I gave him an 87 TB that had a dent in the flange where the intercoolers rubber connector hooks up. I knew he could fix it & make some $$ back for the seals. Very rare to have a vendor be willing to work with you by suppling seals that could potentially undercut his profit (not knowing I was sending in the dented TB at the time) & because he did I made sure he made a few $$ off it & was Happy!
Guys like that are rare to have in this community!  :atbeer:

I agree for Glen/NOS4GN - I have never personally dealt with Steve (yet), but his reputation is without blemish. :)

There's MANY vendors that I haven't spent a nickle with during the parts spending spree I have been on - and it will stay that way.

Most talk about having thick skin but thats just BS.
This damn attitude of "you didn't listen to us/me now you should burn in hell for it" really sucks.

I think you have to either send yours in, or pay a core and send your old one after you get the machined one..

Steve may chime in

Thanks for the feedback fellas! I've been doing these TBs for 16 years and the Wife has plans for me to be doing them 16 years from now. I hope that's true too.
(Now would someone please sneak over there to TBS and kidnap the SW Smiley? I need to use it.)
