High Flow Cat

Ok, Just replaced the stock Muffler with a Walker quiet flow muffler and also running a Full Throttle Test pipe. And now brought to my attention, Davidson County In Nashville has Emissions Testing, so my car won't past without a cat. Any suggestions for a High Flow cat That I could buy and pass emissions with???

Story of my life, More money money taking away from my alky kit.....

I had trouble finding the flange so I bought a cat from Kirban.
If you have a test pipe you have a flange that you can use, maybe buy a 3" cat and adapters. When you eventually get a 3 " downpipe and bigger exhaust just reuse?

used to pass without a cat. Well, I had a cat, but it as hollowed out, and I had to do a bunch of other shit. Emissions PROM, RXP, etc. PIA

Unless you are aiming for low tens, or quicker, I would stick with a 2.5" exhaust and use the money for something else.

With the exception of the old cross flow three inch from ATR, most of the three inch exhausts on Regals sounded really bad to me.

Whatever exhaust you plan to go with...make sure it's stainless. Buy once.

My thinking was one usually/evenually ends up with a 3 inch down pipe so a 3 inch cat makes sense?
Hooker or Pypes behind that, suppose thats 2.5 usually?

A 3" cat makes sense...but you have to install the DP...and the exhaust...and then take a measurement to find out what length cat you need.

Mine used to pass the sniffer test in Nevada with a hollow cat.

I guess it depends on the state, but its worth trying, if you're not afraid of getting caught.

I could not get mine to pass emissions in Chicago without a cat. It was close though. If needed, get an emissions chip from Eric Marshal.
