What were the bearings made out of GOLD! Man that's some big bucks for bearings! Balancing seemed a bit high too.

Another issue with new aluminum rims is they need to be checked for torque on the lug nuts after a couple of hundred miles of driving. Balancing is the key to a good running tire. Less weights use those tires up front.

Maybe you just didn't want to come back to work Gary!! Can always tell when you got good company when you can BS like you been BS'ing for years with them!! Goats are good to have hope you don't have them all named Charlie. My wife has two Nubian goats she takes care of at her work, quite the characters those two are!!

We are getting rain most of the weekend temps in the 50's. it's been a cold, snowy winter. I'm sure you guys will have a good time! Do they even have grapes in Texas Charlie to make wine?

Texas is nice you might actually want to stay there!! I've been to Austin and San Antonio both great cities! Gary you need to bring two boxes of Tastykakes they make those things smaller nowadays!! Oh well have some cold ones and some big Texas sized steaks! Enjoy!

This WE4 is staying stock appearing. Not gonna be abusing her. I was driving on the highway last year when I lost power and oil pressure disappeared!!! I got a standard block and motor rebuilt. My old motor was already .040 over which I didn't know but was in the car when I bought it.

Couple things are bugging me. About the car since I got it back on the road after engine rebuild. First the BLM's have been in the 118 range while cruising. Maybe a bit rich.  Also the car is setup stock other than 42lb inj, adj FP reg, Hotwire kit and TT street chip.
Still have the tube going from the valve cover to the turbo inlet.
Well when I take the oil fill tube off there is a change in the motor runs a little rougher put it back on its fine. On my boost gauge when driving the vacuum is usually 15 right after giving it gas the vacuum drops down into the 20's and then climbs back to 15. Friend said I might have a vacuum leak?? Any thoughts!

Oh boy Schatz family vacation!! Atlanta's airport is a small city!! They have a train that takes you from terminal to terminal. If you walk a terminal add about 15 per terminal good exercise. Where you going Gary?

I really never had any bad knock on the motor and it hasn't seen high boost in quite some time. I saw the crank had play in it back in 2012 when I was adding the front mount IC. My other block will be going to the shop soon for work I have a good crank for that one. I guess I'm gonna be taking this one block at a time. Once I get that one out of the garage. I'll start the tear down on this one. Btw Who is selling cranks for $499?

Pulled my motor out of my old car got it on the stand to drop the pan to take a peek. The crank has play in it. The pulley all the way to the flywheel was shifting about an1/8 of an inch.
Pulled the 2nd main cap and the thrust bearing is almost gone on the sides. Now if the crank is ok can I just put new bearings in and go or is it complete tear down time and off to the machine shop time??

I got one in the garage and two in the driveway right now. As the wife says its not like I'm going out drinking, going to bars, strip clubs and doing whatever. I'm just having an affair with some black girls nothing wrong with that. I got kids got the house and know how to pay my bills and be a good father. If she understands that I like playing with the cars and supports it. I know I have a great wife.
