I did the b body brake upgrade last year and am having trouble getting anyone to do a front end alignment. I've been to 3 different shops and all say their equipment won't work on my car. The issue being the lowered stance and the wide rear tires. Anybody else have this issue. What's the work around. Stance is not radical, just Eibach lowering springs and tires are Nitto 275 50 15 on 8 inch wide Weld Wheels. I do have a set of skinnies I could throw on the front and move the 215s to the back if that will solve my dilemma. Any help would be much appreciated.

That's a bit strange. I had the same set up on my GN and never had a problem getting on the rack.
If you have a level floor, you can probably do a better alignment than the shops take the time to do. Some string and a camber/caster gauge can give you a good alignment at home.

X2 on the diy. There are some very good YouTube vids on the procedure and the tools aren't that expensive to aquire .

Yes, I may have to go that route. Didn't really want to as I've got back and knee issues that keep from doing much these days on cars. Getting old sucks! I have already watched several of the videos and it doesn't seem all that difficult.
Spent almost an entire day at a shop last year. Guy came out after several hours to say they were having issues and that I was $240 into an alignment that they had quoted my $89! Told him to press on. He comes out a few more hours later to tell me his alignment rack is screwed up and to take the car and he will call me when it's fixed. Yeah, right. No thanks. I was there from 10 until 6 and not even an apology. He never did call me back either.

I know the old feeling bit...we are fortunate compared to some. It's not easy to find kids that are interested in cars and learning/helping either.
It's a too common problem today with shops. Very few have employees that understand what they are doing and they rely on machines to do it for them. We are living in a disposable society and it shows. Old cars are a pain in their collective butts.
