are you can try these http://rjcracing.com/product/rocker-shaft-supports/ (http://rjcracing.com/product/rocker-shaft-supports/)

the supports should have been installed from the factory. Holding down a round hollow tube (with a hole in it) with two 'flats' is just stupid. All it does is stress the stock and create some serious stress risers. ESP considering all the harmonics and stuff that shaft sees.
-
I run the supports and stock shafts. It's a 212/202 roller cam with not a lot of lift PAC 1201 springs so far so good I did break 1 shaft in the beginning but had a couple extra shafts with rockers inspected them at the holes and slapped them on. If I had a larger cam I would use the heavy duty shafts.

If you are breaking shafts it sounds like you do need the hd ones.
-
I run the solid shafts on my engines.

Looks like I need to get out my caliper, some stock, and the drill press.

Are they a solid chunk of steel with no hole thru the middle to lighten the weight...or, are they what certain vendors call solid but are still hollow....same as the old hd units that we used to be able to buy, which is what TA sells, I believe.
I suspect the rocker shaft caps will make a stock one last a long time
-
A buddy of mine runs solids they are exactly that round stock with holes drilled for mounting and buttons, I bet the buttons are a challenge!
Stockers and braces work fine for me cam has less than .500 lift, PAC 1201 springs 140lbs seat pressure 437lbs open.
If I step up to more cam and or spring I would definitely go with the TA HD shafts or roller rockers.

Solid...and I've busted a couple of rockers over the years. Happened at the 1/8th mile mark each time...car nosed over.

Shmed,
Didn't we buy those shafts in Bowling Green from Mike Savino?? I am pretty sure that is who we bought them from, they were pretty cheap and have been a great addition to my shelf of parts in the garage!!!!
