1937 Packard 120
« on: January 20 2007, 10:59:09 PM »
This is one of the more unusual cahs that I work on. Right now
I have the nose off of it so I could remove the radiator. I got it
running after it had been sitting for years. These pics were taken with the dying digital camera. I don't know exactly why, but I found the hood
ornament on this car to be really fascinating.

Just amazing.  Are you helping in restoring it?  That thing must be a "Boat" to drive.

The owner has like 4 or 5 different Packards. He bought this one
to make a "driver" out of. 6 volt electrical system still works too.

I've always liked Packards. Just because they don't make them anymore. The hood ornament is badass.
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.

I bet it is heavy also, not some little plastic thing glued on the car.

That is what I figured, drop it on your foot, and you will have a broken piggy or close to it.
