So that's $350 per headlight aka $1400 for all 4?

Steve, I found this . Am alway a bit leary of reading to much into this type of information posted on the internet, but believe there is some merit to it.

Have heard of people spraying silicone on the lens which might help prevent snow / ice build up.

The manufacturer claims they will work in temperatures down to -40deg Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Yep, they work, but they don't make enuf heat to stop the spray and snow from sticking to the glass so they are basically useless to those that have them on drivers up north.

The prices are coming down but the 4x6 selection is not good from some of the well regarded, cheaper vesions like Genessi.

The multiple led versions are usually not universally liked.

What do yall think about the $56 spyders or $22 spec-v? They use replaceable bulbs.

I wood worry about them getting cloudy and needing a buffing in 5 years.

Maybe I can set up a business making little LED headlight heaters....
What can I use as the heater element?...hmmm....
How about an incandescent bulb?

The GE Nighthawk and the Speaker Leds seem to be the best rated units.

GE does not make a 4x6 though.  Originally developed for truckers, I think

the reviews on the spyders are pretty poor and some of them use a halogen bulb for low beam....not very durable

Genssi makes a 4x6 projector that I think is worth a try.  $140 each

Here is a review but it's a 6x7     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gu8C1CZ8W20

http://www.amazon.com/GENSSI-Headlight-Sealed-Replacement-Xenon/dp/B013TT9TE6

The cheaper version with multiple leds sucks

and I see they are called projector because they have an hid projector plus some leds in them lol
