Did you have to grind bolt clearance as some claim?


Nope, no grinding req'd. The top bolt threaded itself in all by itself (will need the help of a ratched & socket though as it will be cutting some threads as it goes in for the first time), no need to grind the steering shaft it connects to.

It is a simple straightforwar d bolt on......gonna keep mine for potential future installation.

Pretty much the same story here. I just cleaned up the column shaft with a file and sandpaper before installing. That and I had to spread open up the steering shaft collars with a hammer and screwdriver.
