Forgot to mention the cover you can get from Auto Zone I think its Dorman the oil pump drive shaft wouldnt go through the hole...Fail

The TA piece is the one to get since their final machining is done by them to much tighter tolerances.

 I recentlyand setup a Brand new GM cover from Nos 4 GM.....and brand new out of the box the pump cavity was outside the spec.

HMMM...FWIW the Denso, Bosch and AC delcos all jumped into open loop.

Cool trick with the washer wouldnt have thaought that little thickness made a difference but I guess aver little bit helps. :psix;

I had the cool off issue with the TA's. One thing good about the Ext G I can set it for open or closed loop

First I have heard of teh heated losing range. Just curious where you heard/read that at?

I had a cool down at idle with mine is weel. The ecm would jump back into open loop . Fixed it right up with the heated.
