Not much over the anymore anyway. The search barely works. Links to their own site are broken. I understand the need to turn a dime but as slow as the site is I make sure I need something over there before I put it in the browser.

I find that site is very slow on my PC, with loading all the ads. The search isn't very useful, and most links in previous posts are invalid and don't work. Also, the multiple duplicate posts are atrocious!
Now they are going to set up a donation platform because they need funds. With all the ads on there; you'd think things would be ok financially.

Donation platform!?!?

Wow. They're looking for suckers. I hope nobody falls for their gimmick.

Shane always seemed to be pretty cool, too bad he listened to the wrong people. It was funny when people found out Shane had money, he had instant best friends that conned him into thinking they were the big dawgs of the community. Where are thoes dawgs now? Gone, just like everybody else and Shane is left with shit. Sad story....Shane didn't even know people like SW, Shane knew people like Travis...., Shane got suckered and now Shane is the #1 badguy.

I wonder how it feels to buy something that's highly active then watch it turn into a dud overnight.

I'm not scared to talk about it, it chaps my ass and will forever bug me.

I am seeing that on more and more sites that I go to.  I run an ad blocker and have no intention to stop using it so I guess I won't be using their sites!

Buicks are a pretty small pond in the greater ocean of cars.  I have found it odd that a handful of people of questionable character have manage to keep their hooks in the community for 30 years.

I find it amazing Steve. Not how long they've been around but how they operate. Slick talkers with no shame. Narcissists too.

Kenne-Bell had a pretty good run.
As new owners come along and see the flashy ads and shiny cool guy stuff, money is made whether the parts work or not. That is not to say none of the stuff works, but to think having a quick car is easy is a pipe dream.

if you have a raspberry pi laying around - https://pi-hole.net/

it makes a dns black hole for advertisers   - so unlike an ad blocker, you aren't wasting time/bandwidth loading ads.

Yes it will Steve. Basically it is your local DNS server, so anything that would use your wireless router for a dns server gets filtered. It's not 100%, and requires some tweaking - but overall it's pretty cool.
