Saying good bye to my GN
« on: September 11 2018, 07:22:19 PM »
As some of you know, my shop got flooded. The GN was in the hobby shop and water got in from the seats on down. We called the insurance company and they've opted to total it. If the numbers are OK, I am more than likely going that route. I'm thankful for the good experiences we had with the car, but it seems it time to move on.

we are all sorry to hear that!  You don't have to be a stranger just because you may not have a Buick!

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

It's too early to tell. This whole ordeal has kicked my ass.

I did not realize that you got hit like that. So sorry.
My take on it is that with wrenching all day long you weren't really enjoying something so "finicky" as a hobby outlet. Stupid black cars :)
You do seem enjoy your old iron much more.
Pretty sure pushing my GN into the gas station gives you a lifetime membership here :)

No real reason not to stay on. Just post about the stuff you do have and are wrenching on.

I share the sentiment a gearhead is a gearhead don’t feel a Buick all that we are about it’s just a common interest.
