My TType is an 84 so in order for me to run the electric fan, I had to use Casper's electronic fan jumper. Well, when I converted the entire drive train to the 86/87, I installed the Casper's wiring harness but I found that I still have to use the fan jumper as the electronic fan still won't turn on even though the wire harness has the hook up and I'm running an 86/87 ECM. Do I need to also change the fuse box out in order to not have to use the fan jumper or is there something else I'm missing? I appreciate any and all help.

Do you have the correct relays in place?
-
All relays are in place and good

You have the fan turn on sensor that is located on top of the intake in place and wired?
-
Yes, that is what it is, the fan relay kit. However, I do have the stock 86/87 relays in and connected to the wiring harness. I just cannot get the fan to run when I plug it into the 86/87 wiring harness. I have to revert back to the relay kit.

Yes sir, the sensor is in an wired.
-
Would one of the relays being bad prevent the fan from running?
-
Bob, the fan circuits are pretty simple...the 86/87s turn on low by the ecm as per the temp programmed into the chip. High speed by the ac pressure or water temp.
here is a link from my site http://www.vortexbuicks-etc.com/fan.htm
It might be simpler to look at the diagram at the bottom than read all my words...I get carried away with the sound of my own keyboard sometimes

Steve, thanks for the help, I'll be looking at that this weekend.
Good to "see" you again.
