Affordable Battery Tender

Clue me in on what I need to look for when buying a battery tender. Hoping to not have to spend much.

Read the reviews and don't buy ones that blew up batteries?
I have a couple of Ctek 3300- seem to work well, have 2 wheel settings if that matters.
I'm not sure what a $300 one does better

I have the Battery Tender Plus and the Ctek mus 4.3

They both seem to do a good job.

I've only had battery tender brand but during my misfortunate brush with the Optima red top I had to replace one of mine.  When I called Deltran and explained they sent me a new one and I was only out the shipping even though it was clearly not their fault and the unit was out of warranty.
So take that for what it's worth.

I've been using this one on my ATV for years.

Gotta keep the T and GS charged up somehow. Even if it comes from Canadian tire.

Unfortunately I have to say......yes. One of the last few things I’ve purchased from them.
And I don’t buy from them any more. Probably been close to 5 yrs now since I’ve set foot in one of those dumps. I’ve had these Eliminator ones for years.....I don’t know if they even sell them anymore.

Princess Auto in Whitby gets most of my business. It's just around the corner from where I work. I'll prolly stop in there Monday after work. Really don't wanna go to Crappy Tire.
