Thanks Earl- ah yes, our former forum host mocking the MAF tap test.
I'll choose to believe Ken Mosher and my own experiences.

The problem with the Tap test is that most folks hit it to hard.  If it isn't bad before the tap it is often afterwards.

PL pisses me off!! You hit the record after burnout save file at end of the 1320.......... then go to review and you have half the run. Too inconsistent IMO. I've made my best runs with that thing unhooked and sitting in my P/U. Set the fuel and timing in Erics chip and watch the SM and let er rip!

Set up to trigger on the throttle.  I have mine set to start recording at 3.5V and 10Sec min.  That usually gets all of my runs including the burnout.

Any decent tires in 235-60-15 out there anymore.  I see Goodrich, Pirelli and MT ET streets in that size and that's aobut it.

Coming back from a cruise this afternoon.  Went pass a slow car and lit them up at 50 a lot easier than I shoud have.

So I used a GM Monsoon deck out of a 2002 Camaro.  FIts with an adapter and a little trimming of the rails.  For Itunes I got an Isimple adapter.

Poly bushings and new ball joints and call it good.  You can box the stock arms some to make them stiffer.

No spark...no injector pulse. Hope I have this right. Crank sensor to ignition module to ECM. I'd swap one at a time in that order. You have FAST instead of the ECM...so we'll likely need one of the guys experienced with that.

I'd be checking to make sure the ignition module is getting power. If all these checks didn't work...then I'd consult Steves no start tree. Takes time with the checks...but you'll eventually nail it down.

Here'e the guide

No start - no spark, has injector pulse - Check the ignition module (also check the CCCI and ECM-IGN fuses)
No start - has spark, no injector pulse - Cam Sensor or ECM
No start - no spark or injector pulse - Crank sensor or module

The logic behind this is During iniital cranking the IGN module fires the plug so it's the driver for the plugs.   Once the ENgine goes over 400 RPM it goes into bypass and the ECM controls timing.   The Crank sensor is the critical timing interface.

General Buick Tech / Re: Razor Alky Pump-How To Check?

Running a mix won't hurt as long as you're tuned for it.  But like steve says you give up part of the benefits.

If you really want to check the pump you need a pressure gauge.  It should go past 150 PSI pretty easily.

A long time ago I replaced the mats in my car.  Bought straight from ACC.  They had never sold carpet for a Maroon T so they sent swatches to get it matched right

The real goal is to retain the heat in the exhaust stream.  To do that you need to coat the inside of the housing.
