Duct tape will hold anything.... Except exhaust.... It won't hold exhaust for very long

That's what coat hangers are for. Holding up exhaust.

It was one of those weeks. We had a young couple replace their left side lower control arm and than try to do the right side. This has a rear vertical mount and  tend to get squished on assembly, plus, the bolt tends to jam/rust in the inner sleeve.  Once all the bolts were out, they couldn't get it out of the mounting pad. So they give up put it back together, rounding out the threads in the process (which we didn't know at the time.) Thomas takes the phone call and tells them to bring it in, we'll see what we can do. So the guys get everything disconnected and get to the last bolt, the vertical one. It just keeps spinning and spinning. Than they call me over. We tried prying down while turning, hoping to get good threads. We tried cutting through the bushing and bolt with a sawz all. Nothing was working due to the limited amount of space. It was too far gone. Now I'm stumped. So I'm standing back, wondering what to do. The control arm is aluminum, a bit easier to cut than the bolt. So I get the wiz wheel. It would be real easy to ruin the mounting pad or the floor of the car. So I carefully cut the control arm from the car. Now, the bushing is left. I carefully cut the outer shell  of the bushing. Than I can peel the rubber away and get to the inside sleeve. Than I cut a series of slices in the sleeve to relieve the bolt stress and out came the bolt. It's been a while since I was this stumped but we got er' done.
