If it’s opening up the egr all the time the vacuum lines are routed wrong or the egr solenoid could be bad.

Pretty hard to mix em up lol
Ok then, at cold start up should the solenoid command the EGR to open the valve? It appears this one is doing just that.

I believe it’s only called at light load cruise but it’s been awhile.....

BLM's tell me it's a vacuum/exhaust leak. The EGR's leak like a whore. I'd be installing all new vacuum hose...includi ng the ones off the vacuum block. You're a trucker...you prolly know a place close by to get the injectors cleaned. 1987 to 2018...you can do the math to how old they are. ERICS CHIP SHUTS OFF THE EGR. I get underneath them when they're running and put my hand around the crossover connections to feel for leaks. Lots of them leak...while the owners tell me they don't. The ribbed MAF hose is a POS...as Dave pointed out.

Okay...put the TT chip and start looking for the air leak both in the exhaust and the intake side. Be sure the plenum is not leaking. All signs point to a leak at this moment

As stated I did all vac lines ect...
Does the MAF reading look wrong? I believe my Limited is about the reading at idle.
I also ment to mention the SES light comes on intermittently .....kinda strange as it mostly comes on at idle, then when driving the car it will go out then back on again.
I also tried the propane trick around all vac sources to see if idle changed...noth ing.
Just thought of one thing I didn’t do and that was to see if the EGR solonide is commanding vacuum at idle.

BUT as said, I will follow advice and install TT chip before moving forward.

Brad, thanks so much for offer, I’m pretty busy over the holidays and such but will be in touch if the chip and other checks don’t help me make some leeway.

Your maf is reading correctly for idle so it is okay at that point.  But the BLMs are maxed out which indicates the computer is adding as much fuel as possible to  compensate for a perceived lean condition.  This is typically a sign of a leak.  Usually, one would suspect a cracked header or other exhaust leak before the O2 sensor.

Also, the usual cracked, holes, loose hoses, leaky  plenum or vacuum block, etc.

Sounds like you have covered the egr leak, but, if you did not, apply a vacuum to the egr and see if it holds a vacuum.  Sometimes they get a hole in the diaphragm.

The TT chip does not use the egr so you can either remove all the  plumbing, or, block the hoses so they don't do anything.

The steel vacuum lines sometimes crack and leak air so that is another check.

The blinking SES light is common.  The problem may not last long enuf to set a hard code so the light goes away.

Ok guys, my apologies for not updating sooner, but the Christmas stuff tends to get in the way somewhat.
Anyway, I did install the TT chip and ran it today. I seems to idle much better but the BL and INT numbers are still quite high 140’s
2 things here. I haven’t ran the car on the road yet (not sure if that has anything to do with the relearn) and I did not unplug the ECU power yet. I no longer have ANY codes on SM either 👍
Now, the TPS is ok at .42 but IAC numbers are rather high, (40-50 range) so I will go back and readjust accordingly. RPM’s are in the 700 range. Bit low??
Fan is coming on much sooner as to be expected with Eric’s chip, around 170* for first time.
O2’s look ok and dance around. I installed a good Denso 1001 O2 a few weeks back.
I cannot hear any audiable exhaust leaks, I know that doesn’t mean I don’t have one lol

Pull the orange wire apart and reset the computer. It is confused and trying to add fuel . If it has a "clean slate" I'm sure it shall run better.

Jim...disconne ct the orange power wire to the ECM...and reconnect...an d then follow Erics instructions 8 and 9. If the BLM's are still 140 after this then I suspect a vacuum/exhaust leak.
