Strange I thought most of these miss-fits where born before then.
I know I was long before that; I did not have the coin to buy one ! ! ~!
And some days I feel a lot older than I look and other days I feel a lot younger than I look. :068: :powersix:

428 CJ is a beast... Fairlane 4 spd I had laid rubber at 100MPH. Crap!!! I'm now one of the old guys!

Drag pack was 390 or 430 gears with a Detroit Locker. Oil Cooler, PS cooler, Better rods, staggered shocks.. Plus more I am sure I am forgetting.. Swapped the CJ out 6 months later for a 427 med riser with 2/4s (carbs...I know what are those :icon_eyes: ).. Had a one piece glass nose made for it.. Custom paint :rolleyes; , dropped 2" front axle.. What a $$$ pit it was.. BUT I learned quick so I didn't loose much on the car. Sold it in 1975 as a "roller".. LOW mileage to boot. Took a 68 Shelby GT 500 as partial trade. Then dove into the Cobra/Shelby stuff for another 5 years. I guess cars are a "sickness" :rock:
