Rich, thanks for taking the time to do this. It's a great pictorial for the first timer/learner and shows what their up against. I could have swore Jakeshoe had something similar but I can't find it. I remember it having some good pics as well, disassembly ect... I think it got cut a little short for some reason though.

Hey Larry, I run TA's in my 464ci GS on a 290-08hl cam (fairly stout for hydraulic cam) never had an issue. Motor has been together since 2005. I've always run ZDDP as well. Not sure if TA still sells the same lifter or not. Part no in they're old catalogue is TA 1405 for the 455 and 1406 for the 231 V6. Gives you another option anyway.

Rich, when I bought my T in '07 one of the first upgrades I did was the fuel pump. Replaced the stock pump with the Walbro 340 255 lph which took a dump within 2 weeks of the install. Put another one in, dumped again on me a in a couple of days  :x
After that I decided. piss on it, I'll try a GM EP381. It's still in the car and I've run upwards of 24psi with alky and NEVER seen any KR in any gear rugged. Lowest O2 counts I've seen were in the 730-740 range and that was in high gear. Call me kooky, call me wacky but that pump works for me.

Are you running a fuel pressure gauge or do you have access to one? I would highly recommend hooking one up if you haven't already, and verify your fuel pressure is rising 1:1 with boost.

Well that's what I thought. This guy is a bit of a mouth piece and I wasn't sure. So I just avoided an argument and find out on my own
