LS turbo hot side....

(1/2) > >>

Old Buzzard:
Working on a 304 ss hot side, using truck manifolds. The set up is being test fitted in a G body, [85 El Camino]. The first build will be with the t4 flange.
I'm using the truck engine ft accessories, such as water pump, balancer, idler, and a Vette alt/ps mount with spacers. [Most conversions are truck engines, anyway.] That way, the x over pipe doesn't have to be crowed into the block and under the truck ps mount. [Too tite w/ the steer gear, and it looks better, and reduces sharp bends.] This design can be bent in 1 piece, then trimmed, split flanges and a flex joint added, if desired.
A pic of what's done, so far. :player:

motorhead:
Is this being designed with production in mind?

$1987 GN$:
Looking good Chuck nice to see you here too.

Steve Wood:
So far, that really looks nice.  I read the LS articles but I don't try to remember them since I don't own one.  I guess that truck engine is really plentiful and I have seen some pretty good results using one as an economical base.  Makes me wish I had not sold the Elky.

SuperSix:
LS is getting more and more interesting.

Piss off the purists and put one in a GN. I like it.
