We will have to compare SD tuning notes. Are you doing OLSD or CLSD?

Also, toss the 80s in and start tuning it in ASAP - it'll save you some ass pain down the line from idle to 100kpa.  Do you have the injector data for them, if not I should (because I am using them in the Monte's 4.8L).

Its olsd right now - after I'm happy with it, I'll try closed loop.
The plan was to get the 36s tuned and then swap over to the 80s. Im pretty sure I have data for them, gotta review some emails and threads.

Went to a car show just to hang out and got asked to participate. I came home with a plaque- and I didn't even dust the car off.

HPTuners VE Tuning 101 - verify that your maf failed. Mine wasn't I had a nice VE table but I was hitting 100% way to early and going 120%+

MAF codes were set to fail on 2nd error, not 1st. Now It's rich - time to start over

I "trick" I have learned of is to zero out the entire MAF scale less the first cell.  In the first cell you put a number 5-18 g/s seems to be the going rate, so it has something to detect against as a failure.  This helps to ensure the MAF fails.

Here is the data for the Deka 80s.  Cannot believe I didn't see this sticky before today?

Segment swapping (ie. changing from a 4L60E to 4L80e) looks like it is just done with a drop down menu now.  I only got a few minutes to review the changes last night, but there is a lot of new parameters showing in the 0411 PCM now.

I would KILL for the guys at HP Tuners to start writing unique OSs for stand alone functionality that had WB integration for CL feedback - especially under PE/load.

Mike, I've tried the drop down and it did not work - I had to send a file in to be swapped. Closed loop would be cool, I'd really like a flex fuel custom os for the 411 pcm. Yes I know I can flash a Truck OS to the pcm, but that causes issues with licensing and cost credits.

Dave - yup we can void your warranty :D

Forscan looks cool - they really don't say much about what it'll do but it does look like you can make some nice changes. It'd be fun to test drive one, make some changes and return it

Fuck me this thing is even more stupid. I've got the VE table just about done. Right now it's a car you have to drive. It's going to be down right scary with a turbo.
