I don't know, just stewing in the fact I can't get headers within a week, I can' get head gaskets within a week, and can't get the right head bolts within a week. Pisses me off. No racing this weekend.

One other thing I need to address is the master cylinder. When I'm stage, ocassionally the brakes go to the floor at the last minute and I red light. My Cardone PM isn't but 3 years old. I'm thinking of converting to a vccuum booster instead of rebuilding the master cylinder. Thoughts???

Just got back from Maple Grove. A weekend cut short by a blown head gasket. This is the 2nd time I blew the compression ring at #6. It sounds like a spark plug blew out of it's bore. I use the OEM GM gaskets. I think I'm gonna try the Cometics this time. I was also wondering about switching to roller cam setup while it's apart. I'm gonna look at the lifter and cam wear real close. The damn thing was running so good. I practiced Friday night Grudge racing. I ran an 11.56 @ 116mph, right where I wanna be. I think I'm going to try to drink thru this one.

This was the weekend we enjoy Chrysler's at Carlisle (PA). My son (Thomas) coaxed me into putting my 84 Eagle along with his 78 Volare Duster in the "Survivor Tent". The car must be 80% original to qualify. He also entered his 87 Ramcharger in that category and won. Just a relaxing family weekend, we stay on site using the motorhome. We're just getting home afer fighting PA turnpike drivers. SW, I tried to get Challenger pictures, there were so many, mixed with Cudas it was overwhelming. I just couldn't help but wondering as I looked at all the 440's: could I beat this car?

My son Thomas has been wanting to enter a Tuff truck competition at one of the local tractor pull tracks. Last night he pulled it off in a Chev. Astro Van. Just a long shot, anybody near Reading or Lancaster PA that can help with a fireworks show. I didn't know how many PA people we have here. I could use just one more person, all kinds of crappy stuff happening to the guys on my team. 1in a million shot but maybe somebody just can't wait to learn Fireworks. This Saturday afternoon.

When are we in America going to get back to making our own stuff. Now that the unemployment rate is so high, unions don't seem to influence as much, and too much of the stuff we buy from overseas is junk, can't we start making our own "stuff" again. Come on, tires made in Korea?? It doesn't appear to be a level playing field: foreign labor costs lower, environmental standards slacking, tax breaks for big biz. The specs that are part of the original bids are usually side stepped and those evils don't show up until months or years later. When are we gonna wake up. America=jobless, imports=golden egg. Every time I open a box that's printed Made in China, Portugal, Indonesia, Korea or whatever, I would just love to send it back. We can all shrug our shoulders and say: that's the way it is. If we indeed do that, we will relinquish our status of Superpower of the world. If that happens, whose shoulder will everybody cry on when the next Tsunami, earthquake, crazed dictator, or volcano hits. I'm sorry, but we have enough crisis at home, and we are slowly barely able to afford them. What really pisses me off is that I am just as much to blame as everybody else. I chose to by a Yamaha Warrior, Honda 3813 riding mower, Honda generator, and get this, a John Deere riding mower. John Deere WTF? Kawasaki engine. So, are we just screwed or what? Health care and being employed by the Government seems to be our future.

I was planning to run the GN at Cecil today but we got postponed. I'm at the shop (I have two acres, rental apts. from an old Polaris dealership) that has a loading ramp. So I was practicing pool and look out the window to see two teenagers eyeing up my loading ramp (from said prior Polaris dealership) to practice jumping their scooters. So they do the "is anyone looking" thing and start jumping. I watch em to see if they might just jump and leave, but no, they take off their backpacks and sweatshirts, I figure they are here for awhile. I am an avid ATV'er, I've done my share of trespassing and I didn't want to be a hypocrite. So I jotted down on note paper: I ________ on this date 4/2/11 will not hold Gary Schatz or his entities responsible for my injuries while I trespass on his property. Signed _______. I went out and said come here fellas, you understand you are trespassing and what you are doing has a certain amount of danger and I have traffic coming through all the time. They both agreed, signed, and until I got back to practicing pool, I looked and they both were gone!!!!! I think todays youth get yelled enough and I wasn't gonna do that. I just wanted them to think of what they were doing and protecting myself. It's funny, as far as I was concerned they could have stayed. I protected myself and they were good at what they were doing.

How emabaraasing. On the front page of the local paper a picture of Pelosi and Boehner, Boehner crying his eyes out. Does anybody else think it's a little wierd. The last time I cried was at my Dad's funeral. No, wait a minute, yesterday I spilled my beer, that made me cry.

During all the TBS stuff, Steve mentioned this site and I just had to check it out. After reading DCEPTCN's El Paso trip bout pissed myself. With or without TBS I still wanted to join. Trying to figure out where everything is here PLUS trying to work, ah-h-h-h, screw work.
