all 4 of my original bumper fillers are in awesome shape. no dry rot, cracking, etc...
but the paint keeps oxidising and getting cloudy after a couple days of a thin coat of wax.
will I be ok to have these painted, or am I wasting my time?

Something is breaking down , let me find the thread....

I think in the end Bruce gave up and replaced his fillers..:

thanks for the link.
I'm under a bit of a time crunch, so I just did some bing searching also.
Since the car is original paint, and is gonna get new paint within the next 3-5 years, I'm going to paint these and buy new ones when I paint the rest of the car.
I guess I'll just do some careful prep before paint

I'm amazed they haven't cracked yet. I got my first crack about 10 years ago. Within 6 weeks the other three cracked and the RR had a second crack.
I've been happy with my fibreglass fillers.

Some sweet fillers.

Are these cars consistent enough in total width to get away with a 1pc rear?

I need to get front fillers (at least) for the GN - the stockers that are on there were fine when I got the car, they are both split now. :068:

I can not say Earl, I do know that the ones that I have had apart back there are very very close.

Once again, you saw it here first. Here's the first pics of the only front fiberglass bumper fillers made that have the correct headlight bezel groove. I feel that these are the straightest and best looking front fillers ever made. They will be offered in black jell coat only. Just like the rear fillers, you take them out of the box and slap em on your car. No body shop required. (unless you have a white car ). Price will be posted below in my sig."

I even got a little aggresive twisting on them and they seem to be fine. kinda surprises me too. the car only has 52,000, but its always been a garage queen.
in that "black air" documentry, they showed the last grand national made that has spent its life in a bedroom of a house. when they rolled it out for some footage, the fillers looked like they where cloudy just like mine, lol!
I have heard nothing but great reviews about spoolfools fillers. actually just talked to another member local today that just saw them at bowling green and was very impressed.
Unfortunetly I don't want fiberglass :( I want the factory style plastiky ones.
I'll report back with my results
