Exhaust is done, trans cooler mounted and plumbed, dipstick installed, and the trans pan is full of fluid
Brought the battery home to charge. Have a bunch of little bs stuff to do yet.

Lets say the stimulator has helped - I've been getting a bunch of stuff done around the house. I'm up to 8000+ steps a day, 2 years ago it was 2500-4000 a day. The doc and I had a good talk about meds, and we decided to hold where we are as I haven't felt this good in years. Fingers crossed it lasts, but I know all to well at any point things could go south.

Pretty sure I saw myself on a TV commercial for my lawyers office, https://youtu.be/rvlp1ME6Dhg?t=26 - lol 3 seconds of fame.

I'm glad that stimulator made a noticeable difference!  When you are at the bottom, any positive step makes a big change in our lives. Hopefully this is one of many such in the future!

Damn, in a normal day?
Part of my workout is to walk 3 1/2 mi, 3x a wk (M-W-F). You out walk me.

Scoobum has diabetes issues and Steve Woods has a goat infestation. Is this whole board the walking wounded?

My goal is 10k a day monthly average, I'm getting there.
9 years ago I survived a pretty horrific incident but I was left with nearly 80% of my body burned. I made a full recovery, back to work and such - but the pain, pstd, depression, anxiety and all the meds was just to much. I ended up working for 5 years after my accident, and then it took nearly 3 years to get my Social Security disability rolling.

God smiled on you and your family.  Many don't recover from such horrific burns.  It also takes a tremendous amount of will to handle the aftermath if one does "recover".  Car guys, forever!

Somebody was looking out for me, I'm extremely lucky.
I'm still trying to find my way - but for now I'm just glad no matter how bad today is, I can start over tomorrow.

I’ve hauled a few burn victims and it gets me every time. . Big props to you for always looking ahead. A smart fella once told me that there’s no future in the past. . I can only imagine the pain of burns. It took me almost three years for that Haji fella to stop running at me in my dreams. VA folks here always thank me when I tell them I’m employed and it always surprises me when they do. Like what else am I supposed to be doing? Folks depend on us and despite our own battles, their needs are what keep us going

I've always had a pretty high pain tolerance, but they don't make words for what someone with significant burns goes thru. The burn itself, the treatment, and then the therapy afterwards - it's all rough.

Jason - thanks for all you've done and continue to do!

I have had small burns on my hands and face. 3rd degree on my hands and 2nd degree on my face. Regardless, my imagination does not allow me to contemplate your experience.

I will use your ordeal as perspective with my issues. I wish you well.

The mental aspect of near fatal issues amazes me to this day. Mine changed the way I see everything. There is no way back.

No progress on the car. Being 15 minutes away makes it hard to tinker on. No bathroom sucks too. But this gave me motivation to hound the township to see if they'll give me 10ft of variance so I can build a 30-32 wide x 40ish long shop. Last year I got the run around. I can possibly make 24ft wide fit, but then it starts getting tight inside with more than one car in it. Waiting for someone to call me back - I called last Tuesday, so that means I'll be calling them tomorrow.

Wife and her friend are having a garage sale here in my garage this weekend - they gave me 3 weeks notice which was nice. So I've been working on all the things that needed to be cleaned up. Power washed the house, cleaned out the garage, reclaimed our back patio from the yard, etc. Hopefully they've already have done our tax assessment as it looking pretty good around here.

Maybe this weekend I'll go play with the car. Need to get it to move under it's own power again.

When I moved back to the ranch, I built a 30 x 40 steel building.  I wish I had built it bigger because I have several cars and a lot of junk.  And there is nothing natural about organization in my genes.

The biggest mistake I made in my opinion is that I installed a single 8 foot door in the center of the building (30' front of the building) 16' or so would have made it easier to get cars in an out.

I built an 8' wide storage room  in one rear corner and that took up a lot of floor space as well.

It would have helped if I had built a loft across the rear or down one side so I could have put up a lot of stuff that I walk around as well.  One cannot have too many shelves.
