It looks like were going to arrive in Vegas on Friday May 18th around 2pm, drive up to Ely on Sat and spend the night. Sunday we'll drive back to Vegas and spend the night again and leave Monday early.

We dont have plans for places to stay. Sylvan was talking about the Cannery. Sounds good to me. I'm about to call for prices.

Who else is going? So far it's Brian, Sylvan, Greg and me...for sure.

Okay...

I was originally going to race this event, but alas, I can not at this time. My car will not be ready in time. When Sylvan and I cooked up this hair-brained idea we were going to race the event. Up 'till now I have not said what car we were going to race, but it was to be the Grand National.

The car is currently getting a complete new, state of the art suspension and it just won't be done in time.  :sad; It would have been cool, but I guess one-off custom suspensions take a bit longer than I thought.

Soooo, that only shortens the trip up a bit (by one day). Now, there is a LOT of stuff going on in Ely on Friday, so I will leave it up to you guys as to whether we drive up to Ely and spend the night there on Friday or not. I know Sylvan will have a 13-14 drive just to get to Vegas and maybe too tired to keep going. We could, however, wait for him and either someone fresh drives his car into Ely, or if there is just four of us: ride in my truck, or we can forego Ely for Friday and go up on Saturday.

Lynch, if you plan on hitching a ride into Vegas with me you will need to call me so we can arrange a meeting place and time for Friday. Your ride with me will be free, as in I got the gas covered all you need to do is show up.  :D

Talk among yourselves and let me know. For those on the sidelines, you are going to miss one helluva road trip!  :finga:

Yeah, I was going to call you about the ride Greg. I'll get on that soon. I'm down to take over Sylvan's ride if he wants. Even if it's the Subaru.

After Ely I'm going to New Mexico with Sylvan and doing his new album photos and a little guitar doodling.

Sucks about the suspension, I remember your ideas for it and I really wanted to see the final results. Were you keeping the axle or going to an IRS?
