As wide as it is, it could be a pulley. The coloured fluid is a clue I think! I'm learning to spell in Canadian.

Why I went with a billet PS pulley. Yikes!

I knew exactly what that was. How? Back in high school I had a '57 Chevy with a 283 do the same thing. I was making a WOT pull at the top of second when the alternator fan came apart. Sounded like a gun shot when it happened. Of course the sad part was the timing....
About two weeks after I got it out of the paint shop.
