SOB brake lines

Well just when i thought i had every F'n thing figured out with this fine lovely car it desided to kick me in the nuts.  I broke a brake line, the feed line to the rear brakes, and then when i looked at it i noticed that it had enough rust on it to sink an aircraft carrier.  So..... what brake lines work on these things?  Can i use a line off of another G-body?  I would think i could but i dont know.  I just want to be able to drive the damn thing this summer man.  Thanks guys(and girls). Harry

The brake lines are the same from other G bodies. I bought a stainless set from PST performance.

cool thanks guys i really appreciate it.  its fun to drive my car but i am getting tired of tuckin and rollin when i have to stop somewhere. :rofl;

Sadly, only the line Harry has to change. It goes through some tight
places and around a body mount. The rest are a walk in the park.

I've heard when you go to the stainless lines that the fronts are easy, but the rear line leaks no matter what.

Make sure you use a flare nut wrench to crack it off, a regular one will fuck you over by rounding off the edges. I'd say get a stock replacement, but this is based off all the horror stories I've heard.

Well i probably wont get to work on the line until this weekend.  I had a felling that it was not going to be "easy" as few things with my car are.  I just got in the habit of driving it 3 times a week and then i was out doing some playing with the line lock and pop..... no brakes and my brake light stays on.  It was one hell of a burn out though.  I needed to bleed my brakes anyway but i didnt want to have to do it this way lol.

I am weary of the rubber brake hose above the rear axle.  That one looks like a bitch to replace.
