Leaf Fans Step Inside

What's your opinion on this years team? Will they make the playoffs? If so, how many rounds? Problems you see with this team? Likes/dislikes of this years team?

I see them making the playoffs...but turning over too many pucks, running around in their own end and the inconsistency of Freddy Anderson will see them make a Round 1 exit.

I for one did not like the way they beat the Jets 7-2.  They need to lose more to the Jets!

They have a decent team and I wasn't surprised they beat the Jets because the Jets did not have their shiat together.  Leafs have some good young guys and I can see them making it to the playoffs.  Playoff Hockey is different from regular season, you need those guys that shine in the playoffs.

Leafs need a couple good guys on defense to help out & a top goalie so Anderson is only playing 40%-50% of the time. They definitely have a lot of potential & could make a decent run in the playoffs. The other day Vegas had them favored to win the cup!

I agree,, they need some muscle as they are a "soft" team right now.
Also need a couple of "studs" on the "D" and things would be looking better. But they are on the right track...just need some time and seasoning. Babcock and Leafs front office are doing a much better job than their predecessors. Give em a couple more years, a few more trades or acquisitions and they should be a real contender.

The leafs are making the playoffs this year.  The main thing is their D corp is so-so at best.  They can't keep throwing a 37 year old hainsey out for the minutes they are giving him, or he's gonna be useless by april.  Polak isn't really an addition, I'd be happier if they gave Carrick the time instead.    They'll figure out their stuff and come out of this slump, they just need to really tighten up defensively.

Leafs take on the Lightning tonite. This will be a good test to see if they're for real...or not.
