My friend was telling me about this! I was disgusted but intrigued. Thats the same motor as RacerX's truck, something like 600+ lbs. of torque. I'm now impressed, it's in a diesel truck magazine on the stands right now.

Techically it's a diesel Cutlass just made to look like a Buick.  So a real GN was not sacrificed.
Champion Irons w/T&D roller rockers, TA-61 turbo, 206/206 Comp Cam,  57 lb/hr Siemens Injectors, 3000 stall PTC, PTE Plenum w/RJC Power Plate, 70 mm Accufab Throttle Body, RJC 325 Megacooler, TurboTweak 5.7/ Alky Control w/M1 methanol, 23 psig on the street, Puddn' Power engine, Borla Exhaust

I read the article and I was impressed at his determination.  He lives very near me. I have seen that car two or three times on the street and once at Irwindale Speedway.

He has a good sized thread over at TB.kom in the Suspension Section.

it said somthing like 1,200 lbs of torque in the magazine article i read. (i think)

Man what kind of work would you have to do to make that fit in there and work out right?  I am glad that they didnt sacrafice a GN for this and i actually think that i would like to drive it.
i like burnouts they smell good
