So at what point does a 3in become a restriction? Mid 10's?
Something I'm missing here.

If I change my 3in inlet to a 4in mafless S.Y. how much will I pick up.

It just seems to me most people concentrate on the wrong things. 29 lbs of boost means nothing by itself.
Probably creating a lot of heat and running out of fuel with that much boost. Whats the IDC.

I hear the term "ALL IN" when it comes to turbo's here.
What does that mean and why would you want to do this.
FWIW 9in filter ,3in maf, 3in pipe 4in turbo inlet  66mil turbo 94mph in the 8th and 122 in the 1/4 at 19 lbs of boost. Driven 200 miles to a track.
I can't imagine ALL IN.

The GP went 11.0 on one pass.
An audi s4 went 10.9 I don't know what was done to it but was a total sleeper.

In terms of traction there is no burn out pad to speak of=just a tanker that was leaking like a sieve so guys were doing burnout in water then driving another 20ft. or so in water. so yea the traction sucked.

Even so there were a lot of nice cars there and was worth the trip.

Turbo the 8 and drive the hell out of it. probably run cooler, faster,  more reliable and cheaper than a swap. :chin: :icon_lol:

How's that for blasphemy?

Only thing is that I don't need a timing chain. There was little to no play and doesn't have many miles on it.

I've broken/seen others break too many times even with stock stuff to suit me. Including 455's. You guys have more nerve than me!
As far as weight roller cams are designed with roller rockers in mind -stockers not so much.

The stability and adjustment are worth the rollers to me?

Maybe with HD shafts.

Where do you get the buttons now?

Assuming good rockers and shafts, stock stuff is no good with roller cams.
