Title: Testing Used Igntion Modules
Post by: Scoobum on September 28 2018, 10:48:51 AM
This is how I test used ignition modules. Listen to it break up under load. Do yourselves a favour...buy an AC Delco or if you're on a budget one from Standard. Don't take a chance on a used one...unless it revs out clean at the track. I've also had the car go flat on its face when it hit high gear with a bad one. This vid is from a Mix and Match at my home track. Note it's empty...you've got the track to yourself...jus t like it's gonna be tonite. No waiting...roll in and go.

Absolutely! WOT! That's the only way to be sure an ignition module, joined with a known good coilpak is good. Only testing good with Casper's tester is not good enough. The part must be test driven and subjected to WOT blasts.  :068:

So you don't use your tongue like on a 9 volt battery?
