I have Krown'd my 2008 truck since new every year.  It does a good job. 


The liquid brine they use here in southern Ontario turns every vehicle on the road into an oxidizing chemistry project.  There are spots in the truck the have developed some cancer and I have treated the spots.  No rust has appeared on the out side of the truck only behind the plastic wheel well covers in the front on the drivers side and the rear wheel wells.  This is the trucks 10th winter.


The 89 Olds was crowned nearly all its life and it is solid underneath, some rust on the body and has not been sprayed in 5 years.   


I also buy cans of T40 (the stuff they spray) and cover my snowblower with it.  Had it for 10 years and no rust, still has all the original sheer pins too.   


Basically if you want to keep a car in salt or brine country for a long time it needs some kind of rust treatment.  I have always found Krown to be a good product.

I don’t think you can beat it. Been using Krown since the late 80’s on the winter beaters.

I'll say this: for as effective as the product is, the company does not stand behind its warranty.

We had to have a door replaced and a lot of metal work done on the TBSS last spring due to corrosion/rot.  When we went to Krown corporate they dismissed us, didn't follow-up, and ultimately blew us off.  So don't expect the warranty to hold up.

We are still having our vehicles done by Krown, recommend it to friends with that caveat that the warranty isn't worth the paper it is printed on.

Finally, when you decide to get a new vehicle done ensure that Krown drilling holes in your e-coated panels is okay with the manufacturer and that they will still honour their corrosion warranty (most won't).  We just have Krown use whatever access points they can on Natasha's Colorado.

I didn't think anyone drilled anymore due to above MFG warranty issues
