It is cheap power.  The lsx blocks are plentiful like the chevy small block was in the 70's and 80's.. 

Add the modern transmission (manuals do better mpg)  and you have a decent cruiser car that gets mid to high 20's fuel economy.

There is a pattern for sure.

I let photoshop do a bunch of auto adjustments on these.
They look a little dark on my work monitors.
What's the consensus? too dark? ( in absence of a monitor calibrator)
