Not really sure how it happened
« on: January 12 2015, 10:36:29 PM »
Like the title suggests, I don't know how it really happened.

It was during my daily perusing of my favorite buick websites and Facebook posts.  I normally check cars for sale just to see if there is an affordable TTA for sale and what else is out there and the pricing.

Anyway, I came across a post on Facebook from a fella that is local to me asking if anybody had a GN or T that they wanted to sell.  I jumped in to let the guy know I was local and would like to meet up with him when the weather took a turn for the better and take him for a ride.

He then asks if I would like to sell my T....  I hadn't thought of selling my T, but I remembered that there was an 87 med grey metallic limited for sale up in Tulsa.

Well, here I sit with an envelope full of money and no TR in the carport. Trailer is hooked to the truck and I'm headed to Tulsa first thing in the morning to pick up a new toy.

I'm so grateful for the education that my white TR provided me and pretty damn excited about getting the limited tomorrow. I'll post pics tomorrow of the new girl

you need at least two to be able to fix one...I had four once for a short time if you count the Elky-usually at least two of them would run-good luck with the new one!

I feel three is the correct answer. It provides that one is always running when races/events are to be attended.

I really don't want to explain how I took the parts off her running car to troubleshoot mine and now neither work,,,,,

Well, that is a turn of events. Looking forward to seeing your new one. We will have to meet up for lunch again.

Of course we will need pix to hold me over.

Made it up and back safely. Didn't even try to haggle with the guy.  VIN 5th digit was an "m". WO5 on the RPO sticker in the trunk. Laminated Mulroney sticker from delivery at Miami, OK, all matched up.  Fresh paint with invoice.

Too tired tonight. Didn't sleep very much last night, I was too excited.  Here's a teaser pic.... More to follow

Can't argue that!  That is the one thing I like about having a low milage unaltered one.

I'm sure Jason's had that asked before, but he's married and has kids. :icon_fU:

We're still going to the races and the white TR will be there as well. Rickey, the fella that bought my white TR is In killeen.  Only difference this year is that I may put the limited in the car show
