We had the opportunity to stop by Brian Lorenz's shop during the open house this weekend.
Nice digs!

Maybe I should change my retirement plans to robbing banks for a living. Heard Hartline was there.

Someone spent some bucks to get a tuner to fly in.  Who has cars that need one up there?  How come they don't go to the track?

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

I cannot explain why only 5 turbo cars showed up the next day at Norwalk.
I thought the two events dovetailed nicely, some complained Dick Millers event was poorly publicized (outside of Olds forums I suspect this is true).
Probably 3x that number in V8 Buicks, suspect the Olds guys don't hate them as much.

Misters Beal and Park were there in the morning and can report how many cars were tuned.

I guess Rob O (forcefed3.8) b got his money's worth with an 8.75... 8)

Decided not to take my car....... long range weather forecast was for rain and thunderstorms which definitely came to fruition Friday night / Saturday.
Dragway 42 was shut down on Saturday because of mother nature.

It was a great event. I had an  opportunity to sit on the patio with Dick Miller, vey smart guy and so down to earth. I had a great time and will go again next year.
It's just a six cylinder, you can't loose
