There has been a definite transformation in the way the truck drives both in its suspension and drivetrain. The 2600rpm torque converter is loose, but not stupid loose. I think the mass of the truck really enhances this sensation, so much so that I started engaging the TCC about 20km/h sooner at 60km/h to remove that slipping feeling. Rolling into the boost is hillarious especially given the mass of the vehicle, I can see how this thing is going to be a handful. The revised suspension fresh springs, shocks, bushings, swaybar, etc has made the ride a lot firmer; but, it feels neutral and balanced. And finally - having all new brakes with braided stainless lines and new calipers, pads, rotors etc is a game changer for pedal feel. So yes, I am pretty stoked about the whole build and what feels like a complete success. That said, I want to get back to working on the station wagon this weekend - just not the 10+hr days like the TBSS was.
