Actually I quit there long before I bought a GN.
The ironic thing was, while I was there I used to work on a lot of GN's and TR's.
Another tech had misdiagnosed a Powermaster system, and I had the job of
fixing it. Later, we ended up being stuck with the parts that the other tech had ordered. They were going to throw them out, so I kept them. I had them for years.
When my neighbor who had a GN moved in, I gave them to him figuring that I'd
never afford to buy a GN myself. A few years later, my neighbor decided to move,
and asked me if I wanted to buy the GN. So, I ended up getting the parts back with the car.
