Chack this guy out.....he makes me wanna throw up. Watch the videos on his site....I recommend the "Guitar Solo (2002)". He is the fastest guitarist I've ever seen. The sickest part is that he's only been playing for about 10 years. I want to strangle him.

Cool. In parts he even plays faster on "2004"
I'd like to hear "suspension", but 25 mb on dail up = a real long time.

There is a very good reason why Vai and Satch don't let guys like this on the G3 tour.

I finally accepted that Buckethead will never be on the G3 tour because Vai and Satch know that he'd humiliate them every night on stage.

They're both very schooled and proficient guitarists, but neither of them could write a listenable song to save their life. Okay, I take that back, Vai's "For The Love Of God" is a great tune. But they get their fame from being supposedly mind-bending guitarists.... .well, B'head can play faster, wierder and even write beautiful music. I'm sorry, but every time I'm listening to Vai (I refuse to listen to Satch), I'm just wishing that he'd hurry up and get to the fast part.....and that's lame.

My partner and I just had this discussion after watching the Francisco solos again. There are some truly great technical players out there and there are some truly great soulful players.

Personally, I really respect the technical guys and how crisp and clean (and fast) they are, BUT I would really rather listen to the guys that pour their heart into it. It seems the guys that play from the heart are more popular than the technical surgeons. Jimmy Page and Kurt Cobain, for example, are not real clean or technical, but they are two great song writers that changed the way music was played. Hendrix is in a whole other realm with respect to this.  :D
